However, you use it not to address the author's arguments, but to hint that perhaps he is immoral because he objects to very basic forms of human decency--you cannot avoid this implication without an explicit declaration that you're not making it, e.g., "But this is not, apparently, how MediaVsReality is using the word. So what exactly are the 'woke' things that drove him from the left?"
