As the article says--and you would know if you read carefully--this is not science so I am not claiming to have data for most things. In this case, it happens to be personal experience (I've been told that the non-religious just "believe in science" instead by religious believers many dozens, possibly low hundreds of times, and heard such a claim directly from the non-religious I think maybe three times, despite talking to far more non-believers); this is also corroborated by the personal experiences of several other people whose perspectives I am aware of.

I am open to alternate evidence; I just haven't encountered any yet.

(I do not count the "In this house we believe..." signs as examples, although I do admit it contains a widely-displayed version of the claim; the reason I don't count it is that I am skeptical of the degree of agreement that people actually have towards that claim in particular.)
