At some level, there isn't any other purpose to be had. We only have a sense of purpose because it was part of a suite of cognitive abilities under positive selection due to successful reproduction (and raising of offspring).

The problem isn't really in accepting life's purpose.

The problem is the step that tends to come after a statement like this: where one decides that because this is life's purpose, it is the immediate purpose of every human's life to, themselves, reproduce, which in social creatures does not follow at all.

This series is excellent, and very long! I wonder if there's an opportunity to turn it into a published work that is more official than a chain of stories on Medium. It seems like quite an important intellectual contribution, and I wonder whether it will get the attention it deserves here.
