Be aware that a lot of the studies are done by scientists who haven't managed to divorce their experiments from their own liberal outlook and the discussion sections (and also to some extent the selection of experiments) may unfairly tilt the apparent ethical landscape against conservatism.

Mostly the work itself is good, but the interpretation should sometimes be discarded and alternative interpretations should be considered. (If you bring up a particular paper, I may be able to suggest some.)
