And men are victims of crime. Are you trying to promote sexist stereotypes by suggesting they should suck it up and take it and not even point out that it happens?

Ideally, nobody would be a victim. If we fall short of the ideal, it's appropriate that we understand how far short, and whether we can do anything to fall less short.
