But those centuries didn't end in 2022. It's a lovely set of proofs, and they should be commended for coming up with them. But at that point, it was known--an internet search would reveal--that it was not only doable but solved (three different ways).

We shouldn't diminish Jackson & Johnson's ingenuity and mathematical talent! But we also shouldn't blow it up into something it's not.

(Also, given their skin tone, it seems unlikely that their direct ancestors include much of the ancestral populations of Egypt and Babylonia; you seem to have made the mistake of "black" = "Africa" = "related"; but this isn't true.)

Anyway, they did very nice work, and you should celebrate them appropriately, not exaggerate as if what they actually did wasn't impressive enough.
