But you ended up saying that science was the process of building and testing models of how the world works--all the "Scientific Method" panel adds to that is that the model is called a "hypothesis" and it makes explicit the part which you also say about it being a social endeavor (i.e. the part where you at least have to tell someone).

I don't see what you think is wrong.

Furthermore, your primary criticism was that people use science being unsettled as a reason to retreat into belief, which...Musk didn't say at all. Indeed, "reasoned questioning" presupposes that it's not just belief.

So I don't see on what basis you're saying "that's just wrong".
