Can't you edit the original article to not include the inaccurate comparison, since you seem to agree that it's inaccurate? It really isn't good to leave misinformation just sitting there to mislead people who don't go into the comments. (If you disagree, then obviously you might not wish to--but it sounds like you accept the correction!)
