Couldn't you use a better example than Rowling reacting--not by implicating fans in any way!--to someone who is directly calling for a boycott of Hogwart's Legacy?
If you want to criticize Rowling's stance on trans people, there are far better ways to do it than this. You can criticize the company she keeps (some of whom do spout some genuinely hateful stuff), or the things she talks about which are false or far shakier than she says (although be careful, because half of those are less shaky than trans advocates say), or something like that.
