"Dear so-and-so, I understand that God placed me on this Earth to learn but I believe His Word that the Earth is only 5700 years old and Evolution is a Fake and Man did not come from a Monkey. But you say my beliefs are a lie of the Devil. You sound like you know what you're talking about. Can you help me learn about how Truth could seem like Lie?"

Me, and I'm timing myself now: "I don't have the time to answer questions about evolution in detail, but you can go here to learn almost everything you ask: www.talkorigins.org"."

Time taken to reply: 24 seconds.

Take advantage of technology. If there are answers to be had, they should be somewhere easily accessible. If there are no answers to be had, the explanation for why not should be somewhere easily accessible.

Racism isn't like being hit because it's usually really obvious when a collision has occurred. It's often not obvious at all when something is racism. If it was always so blatant, it'd be a much easier issue--it would be a non-issue, just like accidentally hitting kids over and over again is a non-issue.

But you can still keep handy a link to the best resource you know of, or create one if it doesn't exist. Drop it into all your stories, too, so people don't even have to ask you.

People who understood science shouldn't have had to create such an extensive resource just to answer bad ideas from people who mostly didn't want to learn anything anyway, but they did, because it was really important for them and for society.
