Do you have any understanding of Tolkien's literary style or the moral dilemmas and messages he was employing in his works?

Given the Musk quote you tweeted, I take it that it is your considered stance that Tolkien's literary legacy is consistent with having male characters be nearly uniformly cowards, jerks, or both?

Indeed, given that you're writing about race, why did you even bring up this quote about whether male characters are portrayed in a way consistent with Tolkien's predilections? Apparently you couldn't find (or couldn't be bothered to find) any link between Musk's views and Morse's, so you just throw in "perhaps aligns with Morse's arguments". Well perhaps not.

The rest of the article is mediocre, but this is just silly. Why did you even include it?
