Eh, I'd never code a site that had a number inserted by anything other than the server itself upon page request. It's not like I'm going to update the number live--update on refresh is fine. The client has no reason to know, so it shouldn't know.

It certainly wouldn't surprise me if it was hard-coded, but assuming they have enough competence to take your money, you can't really know either way unless you sign up and the number is still 120 after refresh.
