Gender Crits have some pretty problematic ideas.

But one thing they're not calling for is eugenics--at least Staniland isn't. They're specifically claming that transitioning and gender-affirming care damages people.

Equating "please stop hurting people" with "please murder people" is incredibly disingenuous. Even equating "care damages people" with "trans people are intrinsically damaged" is incredibly disingenuous.

There are tons of good arguments against gender crit ideology. The catastrophizing and misrepresentation put forth here is completely unhelpful except to (1) make trans advocates look hysterical and irrational, and (2) provoke ever more intense fear among trans people who have plenty of real problems to worry about without inventing ones that don't exist.

Maybe it's good for you as an author to write alarmist clickbaity articles and not worry about the accuracy, but it seems a terrible strategy for the trans community.
