Hang on. What is "around"? What is "Earth"? What is "moon"? What is "go"? What is a "backyard"? What is "larger"?

I don't know how you're using the word "understanding", but it's not the way I understand it.

If an understanding is not recognition of a regularity and expression of it in a compact form for mental manipulation, what is it? And if it is something that, why do you get to use all these words that reference the compact mental form and have it not count as "understanding"?

If you attach a reality-referencing label to some quantity you're calculating, isn't that "understanding"?
