Have you confused the words "man" and "masculinity"? They're not synonyms! And anyway, I also never argued that male was a synonym for being-a-man. My point was about implication. In case you haven't noticed, "synonym" and "implication" are also not synonyms.
You (and, to a lesser extent, the authors!) also keep misrepresenting the survey data in exactly the way one would expect if "Box" were highly misleading, and then are either defending the use of "Box" or not noticing that I argue that it's axis-like, not box-like (I can't tell which).
