How can people be genuine if they're supposed to speak in a uniform manner?

Even if you have a very narrow platform that is supported by everyone relevant, people still have a diversity of ways in which they express themselves, and that isn't compatible with uniformity (outside of a really pernicious cult-like groupthink).
