How is this not more a trap for them than for you, if you actually have reasons for what you think?
Whenever someone says they're a creationist with "reasonable" questions about evolution, I'm elated. They probably won't be convinced themselves, but any onlooker who doesn't already have an unshakeable belief is about to see which side is actually reasonable. It's great!
Now, obviously, it's not reasonable to expect everyone to be an expert on the evidence for evolution. If you buy that evolution happened but haven't studied it, you probably can't come up with great answers on your own. But you don't have to come up with them on your own as long as someone else has written down the answers! You just point at the answers. Like this: https://www.talkorigins.org/
So if anyone has come up with good reasons then why not spring the trap and leave the disingenuous pretend-ally caught inside?
For instance, you say you don't do that kind of work because you expect someone to read the same stuff as you have...but in that case why not spring the trap and give them a reading list?
Or if you don't feel like it, rather than warning others away from the trap, why not do the opposite: "Hey, it's another one claiming to be reasonable...anyone up for dropping some links on them and making them prove their reasonableness?"
