I agree there's still progress to be made.

But when you use the word "feminist", which comes to mind? Second-wave? Third? Fourth, if it exists? Liberal? Radical? Something else?

If your idea of feminism is "dismantle the Patriarchy", "the future is female", and "always believe the victim--I don't care if a few men are falsely convicted", then you have a very different idea of feminism than if your idea is "demeaning sexist behavior should never be tolerated", "medical issues affecting women are just as important as those affecting men", and, "positions of power should be equally accessible to women and men".

If you're a feminist, do you believe that the two partners should be equal in a marriage, or do you believe that the whole idea of marriage is so steeped in patriarchy that your spouse shouldn't even be one of the most important people in your lives?

More importantly, what flavor do the people around you believe when they say they are "feminists"? Do you agree and adopt the same label, or do you disagree and say you're not, even though in another place or another time you might adopt the label gladly?
