I don't really work this way; I think about things, and I have no qualms about going against any community that is wrong just because it is supposed to be "mine". Apparently this is very uncomfortable for most people, but for me the intellectual dishonesty is way more uncomfortable.

But of course I cannot rule out having adopted something incautiously without realizing it. And plenty of things have been suggested to me that, upon reflection, I agree with.

(For example: evolution explains the origin of species. Yep, checks out. Nuclear power is a horrible planet-destroying idea. Nope, doesn't check out. Climate change is happening and is serious. Yep. Organic food is much healthier than non-organic. Uh...not exactly, that's quite overstated. And so on.)
