I don't understand how this isn't just encouraging people to accept their easy-mode rationalization, though.

If you've already accepted that there's an easy mode, but other people don't seem to get with the program, isn't it natural to try to get easy mode accepted in various ways?

Like, you try showing it off! "See! I can do this gender-atypical thing and the world did not explode! So, now you can see gender is just a social construct! Right? Right??? It's so obvious, why don't you get it? Ohhhhh, biases! Heteronormative oppression to maintain power! But it's so obvious, and really simple, so let's see if we can get it to people before they pick up so many biases that they can't see this simple truth."

People are remarkably resistant to giving up simple but wrong ideas, especially when those wrong ideas if true would make their lives easy.
