I don't understand why it's all or nothing. Why not set aside the most problematic parts and leave the rest? For instance, racial superiority isn't doing us any favors, so we chuck that one. But, in contrast, most sports are about competition. Shall we abolish them? We have limited resources, so without competition of any sort how do we decide how to apportion resources appropriately?
