I have, in the meantime, "solved" the is/ought problem (probably). It ends up largely but not completely supporting Harris, but for completely different reasons than he uses (i.e. I have reasons, not protestations). The goal is also (necessarily) different, but there's kind of an ultimate source of value, too.
In brief, when you consider the ontology of oughts, you find that there is one, and that it's relevant.
