I took considerable care to phrase things accurately and look up anything for which I did not feel confident in my knowledge, and while it’s entirely possible I made mistakes, you didn’t point any out.

Indeed, I already addressed exactly the point you were trying to make, (c.f. “The people who built the country didn’t build it to cater to [white supremacists’] kind of hatred…and to the extent that they did, we follow their best principles, not their worst impulses.”

What do you think I meant by and to the extent that they did, hm? And their worst impulses?

Also, don’t you mean 1978?
