I understand that there are many cases where there are clear cases of discrimination. And I agree it's been present in too many areas for far too long.
However, if one is committed to equal opportunity, one is committed to tackling this discrimination.
What does a focus on equity add? Again, how do you know it will produce superior results, as opposed to, for example, diverting a lot of resources to areas that are not at the crux of the problem while still not solving the crux of the problem?
