I wish people recognized how important this is! It sounds like a lot of boring abstract philosophy babble to many people (although you have made it considerably more concrete).

But the more I chase down the likely causality of the situation, the more I realize that in fact the kinds of thought promoted by postmodernists and critical theorists has never been sufficiently vigorously debunked, and via popularization in certain academic areas initially and then wider spread it now represents a quite serious threat to our ability to function as a society.

Thank you for helping to illuminate some of the problems with the perspective! I have ever since I first learned of it thought that postmodern critical theory was indistinguishable from nihilism from an epistemological standpoint, but I'd never made the connection to anarchism before. I think you're right, or, at least, if technically wrong, quite close to the mark.
