I'd agree that mob justice can occasionally work, but I'm not aware of any examples--outside of small insular communities where "mob justice" and "law enforcement" are the same thing--where it reliably produces the right results.

There are plenty of examples of misfiring when it's nominally "for women" (e.g. Emmett Till).
