I'm sorry you've had a difficult personal experience, and I agree that rushing isn't (usually) a good idea. The polarization around the issue is extremely bad for patience, alas. At least through 2015, the Amsterdam Gender Identity Clinic seems to have taken the time to get things right, as reflected by ever-decreasing numbers of people transitioning, but the same high levels of satisfaction with transition being maintained. It's reasonable to be concerned that this is not the norm elsewhere, but it's not very well known to what extent it is not the norm.
However, your mindreading is extremely far off-target. The motivations you ascribe to me are wrong; but fortunately it doesn't much matter, because nothing here depends on my motivations except what I write, and you can judge that directly.
