I'm willing to give Critical Race Theorists some credit because they legitimately did highlight some very important considerations, especially before they wedded themselves too closely with critical theory.
I suppose one could give CT some accolades too, but I'm not particularly motivated to because the proponents of CT should have known better. But yes, if you sift through the work carefully, there are some good points there. As like as not, the conclusion drawn is completely backwards (e.g. when noting bias the thing to do is redouble your efforts to avoid it, not go, "oh well, we are creatures of our moment in history"), but even raising a point that has been neglected is important work.
