In the first image, the central line isn't aligned with the top one, making it truly the case that it extends further right. (It's not longer, just shifted right by 5 pixels.)

In the third image, the fins extend the line, making it genuinely longer by 6 pixels.

The perceptual effect is greater than the messups, but you should choose a better picture.
