It's hard to know in this case, because they went after Liz Magill really hard first and got her fired (she's not black), and it was really tough to go after Sally Kornbluth because she's Jewish and also MIT has been a stronger advocate for free speech as opposed to student comfort than have Harvard and UPenn. (So even though she was giving basically the same answers, it wasn't as hypocritical as the same answers coming from Harvard and UPenn.)

So I think wondering is about all one can do here.
