It's not carefully crafted enough for me to publish it--I have a pretty high standard for things I publish on Medium--but you can cite it via this link: https://ichoran.medium.com/most-of-the-key-distinguishing-ideas-of-critical-theory-are-statements-of-fact-but-havent-been-6891cc249297
In my article Beyond Critical Race Theory, I spend a good deal of time talking about the problems of Critical Theory. I also was unable to resist a adding a few jabs in Science is Tricky for Philosophers.
I've been meaning to write an article on using simple agent-based modeling to build intuition for the possibilities for social phenomena. As an example, I think it might be interesting to talk about the parameter space around the Overton Window and Echo Chamber dynamics--intuitions work rather differently once you allow negative acceptability (i.e. "it is acceptable for my enemy so it's unacceptable for me"). Maybe that would be a good contribution for Science & Meaning, if I ever get around to actually writing it.
