It's really easy to fall into "reactionary" when the people that they're reacting to tend to respond to gentle doubt and probing questions with hatred and turning up the gain on slogans, but don't actually provide answers.
This is, technically, a logical fallacy. That someone is incredibly bad at making a sound argument or defending their position does not mean that they are necessarily wrong.
But it does correlate with wrongness, and it's pretty infurating too, which explains why a reactionary response is somewhat common.
