It's so sad that people seem willfully blind to so much human suffering. I do try to mention Sudan, but it's hard for one person to do anything substantive, especially when one doesn't have inside knowledge of the situation (which I don't). Practically nobody wanted to talk or think about Tigray either.

It's both depressing and heartbreaking. We really, really ought to be better than this as a species.
