It's well known that incompetent people get promoted. Whites complain about it too. See Dilbert, The Office, etc. etc. etc..
It's also certainly the case that there are instances of discrimination and other instances of structural inequality (e.g. networking starting from a baseline of lots of white people tends to favor white people, because people tend somewhat to segregate themselves by race).
But it doesn't make what I said false. It's just not the whole story (and I already said so).
