Max: "JKR has been subjected to vicious attacks, harassment, and defamation by woke activists who refuse to engage in reasoned debate or dialog. [...] We should resist [...] ideological bullying [...] and instead foster a climate of intellectual diversity and debate. [...] I believe we can learn a lot from the diverse cultural and historical experiences of gender."

(Emphasis mine. Note also: there are no instances in Max's article where he says any view should not be stated or that any people should be unable to state their view.)

Kaylin: "What you're arguing for is free speech for some people [...] You don't want intellectual diversity and debate, you want intellectual hegemony to suit the dominant cultural status quo."

Your reply sure looks like a rejection of debate in favor of ideological bullying.

How are you all for "intellectual diversity and debate" when you state, without argument, that someone means precisely the opposite of what they say (which they have gone to some trouble to emphasize by stressing it multiple times from multiple angles), and use your characterization of them to charge them with an immoral perspective?

Maybe you want to reread Max's post more carefully and make some edits to thoughtfully address what he says, or maybe you want find an argument in favor of ideology. The way it stands now, it bolsters rather than challenges his contention that there's a problematic culture of intolerance.
