Your claim is only "the basic ideology must be adhered to". Well, newsflash, the basic ideology of conservatives does not include "women must always stay home and take care of the kids".

The original author may have other points that are strengthened by the idea that there is diversity among conservatives. But that point, the one I was responding to, the one I quoted, is, as I said before, "just flat-out wrong".
