Not really. I'm just a bit of a stickler for staying on topic.

If you want to direct me to a location where the topic is what to do about rape and/or rapists, I'd be inclined to engage because it's a really serious problem that leads to an enormous amount of distress. (If I have anything to add--it's entirely possible that I won't.)

Anyway, so far, you haven't actually addressed my point on this topic. (Also, I'm not sure whether you caught that I am not talking about theft of cars but rather theft from cars--"car breakins" is the normal term because people normally have working locks. The parallel is much closer this way. You are not the car.)

The broken lock, in the example, is an analogy to allowing cis men into women's spaces unchallenged.

As compared to a possible challenge, this seems strictly less safe (just as an unlocked car seems strictly less good at protecting your possessions than a locked one). Make everyone safer and...it's still strictly less safe.
