Odd--my impression of Tim was that he wouldn't defend his position but would just amp up his base and go off to the next article. (Didn't get a very "nice" vibe from him either.)

(I don't really like talking about people behind their backs unless it's literally just a recommendation to read their article(s), so I won't name anyone else, but there are other names that come to mind way before T.W.'s when it comes to taking strong positions--even strong anti-racist positions--and defending them.)

I wonder why our impressions are so different? Maybe exposure to Tim over a different time window, or maybe because we have differences in style?
