Oh come now. People from these states don't even manage to teach evolution reliably--and yet their students do occasionally end up at Harvard and whatnot.

It's a solved problem: freshman biology doesn't assume incoming students know anything about evolution. (Prudent anyway, since you can't know how well it was taught even if they loved it.) If CRT is important, just teach it in a freshman class and you're good. Admit whoever seems solid otherwise.

Yes, there's a possibility for some sort of elitist litmus test for people who haven't even had the opportunity to learn a subject, but this doesn't meaningfully move the bar. There was already plenty to disfavor, if that's what you were going to do.
