Oh man. Is it ever.

Back in 2007 when IPCC AR4 came out, I only ever had to wield it against climate-change-denying idiots. "It's not getting warmer, and the sun is causing it!" "That...doesn't even make sense. But look, we have measured solar output--look at the graph!--and it's clearly not it!" "Look at these pictures of sea level getting LOWER!" "Oh my god, do you not understand what TIDES are?!" "It was cold today and yesterday, too--this proves climate change is false!" "Weather...climate...oh...facepalm" etc. etc..

Then in 2013 when IPCC AR5 came out...same style of idiots making the same stupid arguments. But I had even better graphs. Yay!

But nowadays I spend most of my time with IPCC AR6 quoting it against climate change doomsayers. "The earth will be too hot for humans to survive!" "It was hot today and yesterday too--this proves we're all going to die!" "Look at these pictures of sea level going UP!"

It's like people decided, "Golly gee, the right is doing so well with their anti-scientific lunacy, we gotta get some of that too to compete!"

I am pretty bullish about humanity's resilience. But goodness.
