But you specifically invited comments (admittedly on another story, but it seemed highly relevant here). So I gave targeted feedback about one particular rhetorical tactic that I thought would play particularly poorly--especially if someone started to engage and then looked into what you were talking about and realized how misleading your characterization was. I phrased it in a way that I hoped would engage thinking in a somewhat challenging way (because you've previously strongly defended being pretty hard on people as a good strategy), but apparently did a poor job there. So I explained the point when you asked.

Anyway, I get the message: no interest in responding in any way to targeted feedback.
