Or like Lebanon, where there isn't as much peace, and people don't have as good of a life. Or like Yemen, where there isn't as much peace and people don't have as good of a life. Or like Syria where there really hasn't been a lot of peace lately and what you have had has been under the rule of an authoritarian leader. Not like Saudi Arabia--no oil. Egypt? Compared to the others, Egypt isn't a bad thing to aspire to.

The comparative argument isn't a very good one. Especially given the war in Syria, which killed ~600k people (~3% of the population).
