People don't have energy for every cause, and there is also some wisdom in focusing on that which you may have some ability to change. So I don't think you have much of an argument here--it's rather weak evidence.

It might help if you contrasted it with some group that was principled and consistently so. Otherwise it just seems like "gee, Progressives are human". Yeah. Progressives are human. No surprise there!
