Have you actually done any reading on likely changes to earth's biosphere, e.g. https://www.nature.com/articles/nature11018 or https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg2/downloads/report/IPCC_AR6_WGII_SummaryForPolicymakers.pdf or whatever?

If you assume that we just pick a way of life and stick with it to the bitter end (and ability to exploit is simply-modeled, which is also wrong), then, yeah, things can get almost arbitrarily bad: https://www.annualreviews.org/doi/full/10.1146/annurev-earth-053018-060428
