I'm afraid I'm rather confused by your response. Though I think I do have a better sense of your attitude towards the topic, I can't figure out whether you're trying to make an objective claim about the justifiable use of language ("ultimate goal is"), or just a personal claim about what feels right to you ("never work 'equally well' for me").

But, at this point at least, that's my problem. You're not responsible, obviously, for solving it for me. Thanks!
