That makes sense. But let's put the shoe on the other foot and see if it still does.
Suppose the school is (or you think it is) teaching a (weak) white supremacy narrative: that white people are intellectually superior (never quite actually saying so, just always coming up with examples that show the point) and that they're morally superior (again, never quite saying so, just for instance highlighting the times which make the best case for it).
Are you okay with that as part of your child's school curriculum? You can give a different perspective at the dinner table. All cool, yeah?
