That might be relevant if we were talking about abortion, but when we're talking about parenting, which is the case here, no, the whole premise is that parents are the ones not walking away. They choose to have children and raise them, and the argument is that they are performing an essential and insufficiently praised service for society, and that more people should take on this role.

It seems like you've lost track of the topic, and are using arguments from the wrong context. If this is the case, you might review your own last paragraph. If it is not, you need to do a better job connecting the dots from your statements to how it's relevant to this topic.
