That you brought up the riots but not all the peaceful protests is a pretty stark condemnation of your perspective (to the very limited extent that you've shared any perspective). If the original author had brought them up the riots, fine. But no, you apparently want to make it all about riots.

Why?

Is this the standard attack-misrepresent-and-deligitimize tactic that is ever so common among opponents of social progress? If yes: oops, we're on to you, and we see where your arguments fit in amongst those made by a long line of unsavory characters. If no: well, you'd better explain why not.
