If you, instead, do actually care about people to some degree, and you know your stuff, why not demonstrate it? Address Ganel's points. Address Hamas' actions. You ought to be positioned to persuade people and/or help find a broadly acceptable solution based in the reality of the situation.

So pull towards some sort of sensible resolution. Or keep posturing and stoking mutual hatred, with the consequence of exacerbating suffering for your own benefit. But some people will notice that this is what is going on--even if you don't notice yourself!--and call you out on it.
