That's not a good enough excuse because (1) you have to consume a really weird set of media to have not heard exactly her points multiple times (especially on Medium) but heard the "other side" many times; and (2) whether or not one has heard the "other side" repeatedly, it still needs to be taken into account when trying to find less horrible resolutions to the situation.
